You don't typically think of Sunday as a day to get back on track, but why not today? I've been trying to get back on track for quite some time now. I struggle with discipline. Without having a coach, I find excuses not to stick to my plan. My hope is with daily blogs, I can share some insight into my progress while holding myself accountable.
et me know if you have any tips for holding yourself accountable to your goals!
This morning I started out my day with 30 minutes on the stairmaster, followed by a short should workout. I got a decent sweat going and felt great.
I didn't want to over-do it seeing as this week will be a heavy training week: Red Rocks training 1x, 6 CrossFit WODs and a 5k race at Red Rocks on Saturday. Aye aye aye, I get tired just thinking about it! But, I am excited to push myself this week. I'll need to ensure I am drinking a lot of water and getting good sleep in order to recover.
Currently, my Microsoft Band is broken, so I do not know how many calories I burned during my workout or throughout the day.
After the gym, I ventured to Sprouts & Target to grocery shop. I stocked up on essentials to stay on track this week: fruit, spinach, proteins, rice cakes, cashew milk, and much more!
For most, Sunday is a day to relax. However, I find myself bogged down with laundry, baking, and other chores.
This Sunday, I baked my Dad Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies for his birthday:
After baking, Tucker and I went on a walk while I took some freelance photos for a health food company.
Below is my food log:
I finished with 194 carbs, 66 fat, and 141 protein = 1,934 calories
My goal is 1,900.
One day at time kids.
Day 1 was a success. Now on to planning my food for Monday so I can keep this rolling!
